“I started riding motorcycles at the early age of three years old thanks to my parents Ted and Sharon Metzger, who are serious motorcycle enthusiasts. Both raced motocross and were avid Harley riders for quite sometime. Traveling with my dad and racing some of the biggest motocross races in the United States like AMA Ponca City, Mini Olympics, and winning the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships at a young age got me ready for the biggest races in world, the AMA Professional SuperCross and Outdoor Nationals where I got race for just about every major manufacturer. Wanting to be a road racer when I was a kid was something I dreamed off constantly, but my dad was truly a motocross dirt guy and didn’t care for street bike riding or racing at the time. As I got older I got a chance to race SuperMoto which was the perfect motorcycle racing discipline. A dream come true. Street and dirt racing on a motocross bike with road racing slicks. Taking the ultimate riding pack and having to learn all the bike skills combined. Even having to learn flat track techniques to push your motorcycle to the highest level. To say the least, I love riding motorcycles, pushing my skill level, and sharing smiles teaching people what makes me the most happy”.

The day is split up between first learning the street track, then the dirt track, and then combining the two to put together the full SuperMoto experience. We finish the day off with a tame makeshift race with just enough laps to give you that feel of what it’s like to battle against your race competitors. Then back to the classroom to discuss your experience with everyone and then call it a day. The main goal being to make it through the day as safe as possible and leaving with new found skills and knowledge on how to make a motorcycle work on both street and dirt knowing that it could be something that pushes you to keep coming back to the track to get faster ever time.
